Rémi de Montbron welcomes you to his typical Landes Girondines house. An organic farmer, he invites you to discover their environment. It’s not unusual to spot squirrels, roe deer and other woodland animals around their crops. Located on the migration route, the Londeix estate is crossed in autumn by thousands of migratory birds, including the grey crane.
Weekend highlights
Day 1| Arrive in the afternoon and discover the secret world of a pigeon farm and the wood pigeon, another of the region’s migratory birds.
Day 2| A day in Bourideys with an ornithologist from the LPO to observe the “Dames Grises” at their feeding grounds and on their spectacular return to the dormitories.
