The Cercle Occitan du Sud Gironde is offering a poetic and musical walk in tribute to Marcela Delpastre, a woman and poet who was a major author of twentieth-century Occitan literature.

A musical reading will enable you to discover the multiple works of this woman from Correze, whose centenary will be celebrated in 2025.

Deeply attached to her land, which was the predominant theme of her writings, she chose to live on the family farm where, with pencil and notebook always in her pocket, she combined work in the fields and writing as the seasons went by.

The duo “LO SILENCI DE LA FLOR” will provide the musical accompaniment for this evening.
