The Tourmente is returning to Aquitaine at the invitation of Bordeaux Métropole for the Traverse event, scheduled for 14-18 May in Bordeaux on the theme of the Garonne River. In partnership with the Junior Chamber of Commerce, l’Equipage and Bourlingue et Pacotille are joining forces for 8 stopovers to bring river transport to life on the Canal des Deux Mers and promote sailing. From Sicily to Bordeaux, olive oil, Mediterranean products: pre-order on the website or by email and come and pick up your products on the quay!

A stopover in Langon on the morning of Friday 9 May and in Cadillac on the afternoon of Friday 9 May and Saturday 10 May is planned, with visits to the barge every 30 minutes (booking required). There will also be a meeting with local economic players and a screening of the documentary “136 tonnes d’histoire” at the Lux cinema in Cadillac on Friday evening.
