In the first half of the 20th century, the Bazadaise breed was already at the heart of the preoccupations of some Bazadais, particularly with the approach of the Bœufs Gras festival. Happy memories of a forgotten daily life.

So, remember… The butcher’s weight scales… The oxen’s yokes stored in the attic of a barn… And the traditional Shrove Thursday banquet!
