Grande course aux œufs de Pâques au Château de Mongenan to Portets
Le 20/04/2025A not-to-be-missed event for chocolate lovers aged 7 to 77, the Château de Mongenan is organising its traditional Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday 20 April at 3pm. Preparations are already underway, and the cats Brimborion and Melle Zoé are hard at work preparing pretty little blue baskets full of chocolates to hide in the garden on Easter morning. Brimborion and Zoé will delicately place their numbered baskets in the bushes and flowerbeds. In the afternoon, from 2.30 p.m., they will welcome the competitors and give them a number corresponding to one of the baskets.
The race starts at 3pm. Children will have to find the basket corresponding to their number. This number will then be used during the snack offered to them.
Dates
Parents and supporters will be invited to share a snack if they are still in their teens or, if they are more mature, to sample the estate’s white and red Graves wines with a few canapés.
Afterwards, at around 4.30pm, visitors can take a guided tour of the 18th-century museum and the Masonic Temple.
