Citizenship Festival to Podensac

For the 4th consecutive year, the commune of Podensac is organising the Festival de la

Citizenship and will be held over 2 days: 23 and 24 May 2025, mainly at Parc Chavat. Citizens, associations, shopkeepers, artists and committed organisations will come together to celebrate citizenship, history and local heritage.

Friday 23 May is reserved for workshops and talks for young people in CM1-CM2, secondary school students and those from the Mission Locale.

Saturday 24 May will be the day for the general public! The programme includes a historical walk, a lecture on the Garonne, tours of the park and Château Chavat, genealogy and bookbinding workshops, exhibitions, old-time games, a bouncy castle and two closing concerts. And let’s not forget the time capsule, set to reopen in 2050!
