Experience a day out of time at the ecomuseum!
Take the century-old train to Marquèze, an authentic hamlet on the Grande Lande in the heart of a protected natural area. Discover the skills of bygone days, old furnished houses, a mill, a bread oven, domestic animals, Gascon games and delicacies… with our guides, discover the riches of a little-known heritage and the secrets of a vanished society.
The Ecomuseum will be open from 1 April to 28 September 2025.
The 2025 exhibition, entitled 600° and organised by the Les Associés collective, will take an artistic look at the fires of 1949 and 2022, and their impact on the area. The exhibition will be accompanied by a special programme at the Pavillon in the near future.
